The Rise of Inspired Property Management

From humble beginnings to becoming an established reputable company in our industry our journey is a testament to hard work, determination, and the desire to succeed.
We were born with one simple vision, to provide exceptional service to our industry.
Created in 2009 by Danielle Parker, Dave Poppleton and Andrew Poppleton.
The company was established in the spare bedroom of Danielle’s flat in Harrogate.
Starting with just a team of one, the initial phase of building Inspired Property Management was anything but easy. We started trading in 2009, during the financial crisis, no developers were building therefore no new business was there to tender for. We had limited resources and faced a very hard and competitive market.
However, what set us apart was out unwavering commitment to our core value of integrity and transparency.
We slowly grew with the founding partners taking on full time roles within the company. We did everything to keep costs down, from walking to the post box to post cheques to the contractors to dealing with out of hours emergencies, we did it all.
It was a very proud day when our first office opened in Doncaster. This grew over time to a larger head office in Doncaster and one in central London.
We are proud to confirm that over the past 15 years we have grown to 85 staff members managing a total of 15000 units over 500 buildings.
Our portfolio stretches the length and breadth of the country managing some of the largest freehold clients, RMC and RTMS.
However, still recognised as one of the smaller agents, Dave Poppleton, and I decided that to allow IPM’s continued growth and development we would need to look to need to join forces with a larger managing agent to allow us access to greater resources and expertise whilst still allowing us to be proud of the IPM brand we had worked hard to build.
This is why we chose the home of Fexco Property Services (FPS). They support us by still being our own individual agent but provide additional support from the FPS team. This allows us to deliver improved services to both our clients and customers and give more growth opportunities for our team.
We have been with them now for just over a year and it’s been an absolute pleasure working with all the FPS team. Their dedication and support in welcoming IPM into the group has been incredible and it feels like we have been a part of the team for years.
I am also immensely proud of the IPM team and what they have all achieved over the past several years.
As we celebrate our 15 years within the industry, I look back at our decision to join forces with FPS and albeit a very hard one was driven by our desire to enhance our customer service and provide more opportunities to our team. Whilst we cherish our history of how we built IPM from an idea between friends to becoming a small managing agent we are proud to tell our story showing hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
