A sustainable business that believes in helping and supporting communities

To ensure the success of our business, it is essential that we carefully manage our impact on the environment and our local communities to create a sustainable future for all our stakeholders.

Sustaining our business and communities for the future

Colleagues

Our teams enjoy a flexible, open environment and opportunities for personal and professional growth. There are plenty of opportunities for growth and development with apprenticeships and professional training on offer. We also have a strong track record of internal promotions and encourage secondments and learning opportunities outside of the daily role.

The health and wellbeing of our teams is important and there is support available for both physical and mental health issues, including check in facilities for work-related stress.

Customers and clients

All of our customers and clients benefit from a transparent, fair and ethical service, particularly in light of the legal and regulatory environment in which  we work.

All property owners can be confident that we will provide a safe environment for the homes we manage thanks to our health and safety management system, contractor accreditation and internal practices. We also ensure that we engage cost effective services to protect and enhance the value of those homes.

Communities

We are committed to our local communities across England and Wales. Our staff support local sports teams and charities on a regular basis. In addition, the Fexco Property Services group supports a different charity each year. For 2022 and beyond, the group is fundraising for MIND.

Environment

To promote environmental sustainability, we encourage all of our customers to switch to a paperless service and we provide as much information as we can digitally.

Supply chain

We engage thousands of contractors on behalf of our clients. We prefer to engage smaller, local contractors as they tend to provide a higher quality service and better value for money. This, in turn, supports the local communities we serve.

We support our supply chain with a fair and reasonable accreditation programme and provide additional support for health and safety and compliance where needed.

Supporting our community

Carbon neutral

As a group we work hard to limit our impact on the environment and are a carbon neutral organisation.

Ensuring safety

The safety of our customers and colleagues is central to all we do.

Supporting local charities

Our chosen charity for 2023 is Mind who are working for better mental health in the UK
